I’ve always had an ear for drums. It’s what I’ve listened out for in music since I can remember. When I was younger I was proper into rock, punk and metal. Which is what motivated me to start learning to play the drums. My journey into rave music started after about a year of learning scratching on the decks. I then heard an LTJ Bukem mix and had a bit of an epiphany moment. I realised mixing was something else I could on the decks besides scratching. Then, very quickly I started to get more and more involved with jungle and dnb. Damage sessions represents the broad range of styles the genre has to offer. Sometimes I like to start heavy and finish mellow or vice versa or, just stay on one vibe the whole show. just depends how I feel on the day really. “Damage” where I’m from in Dundee is a piece of slang people use to describe something being exceptionally good or cool
