With Infrared.FM since 2025, Ollie D's passion for underground music had its beginnings in 1990, when he was only 10 years old. At twice his age, Ollie's older brother was the inspiration at the time, opening his eyes (and ears!) to the early techno sounds through the then pirate Kiss FM, London.  Ollie's journey towards DJing started with the tape packs of the early 90s raves before moving to a decade-long stint of vinyl collecting, initially with jungle and evolving to the darker, tech-step DnB sound of the late 90s. Ollie attended Cambridge University, where he and a mate set up a regular DnB night for fellow students, called 'Momentum'. Not long after uni, Ollie's decks sat in hibernation for many years until just a few years ago, when he was encouraged to get the gear back out by his son. With his passion revived, Ollie turned to YouTube to share his love of the music, and to date has amassed approaching 5,000 subscribers. Ollie's YouTube channel was well-received by the Infrared crew and helped him to secure a fortnightly Thursday evening slot. Reflecting the two distinct eras of his record collection, Ollie rotates his sessions between DnB and old skool jungle techno / hardcore.  Ollie loves to play live and is eager to do more following several recent sets at Planet Wax, London. Ollie lives in Lewisham, South East London and has two sons, aged 11 and 8, with his wife Sophie.
